CTUR Director Professor Jonathan Gershuny has been awarded a CBE for services to the social sciences and sociology in the Queen's Birthday Honours 2017.
ONS Analysis: Volunteering trends in the UK
The Office for National Statistics has released an analysis of volunteering trends in the UK which includes data derived from the 2000 and 2015 UK HETUS produced by CTUR. Whilst the proportion of people volunteering has increased, the average time spent volunteering per day has fallen. Read the full article here.
