Daily Life and Social Change

The ESRC has funded this project from October 2004 to September 2008, to carry out:

• a programme of substantive research. Subprojects range from analysis of activity sequences through the day to the use of time-allocation data in social and economic accounting systems
• a programme of methodological investigation and data preparation, with subprojects considering a range of quasi-experimental and other methodological work, comparing and combining time-use datasets, and linking them to other data sources (particularly panel materials).
